I spent the better part of my 20s without a period. I would go for months, sometimes 6 months or more, without a period. It was typical for me to get only 4 periods in a year. When my doctor told me that I had PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), she also told me that my only option was birth control pills to control the symptoms. I knew that there had to be a more natural way to heal myself. In this episode of Girl Meets Body I’m sharing with you what worked for me to heal my PCOS naturally and for GOOD. It’s important though to realize that this is what worked for my particular body and it’s not a one-sized-fits-all solution. I recommend you speak to your doctor or a naturopath that you trust so that you can find out what works for your body!
